Veterans Serving America does not require employees to be veterans and it's just another hack outfit of pseudo-cops, strutting and posing. The reason for the inquiry is I saw a car and thought, oh no, that is not a real cop, that car is just kitted out to imitate one.
The car had the light bar across the top and state-ish looking symbols on the doors along with some inexplicable gibberish on the rear. The vehicle was white and looked cop-ish but that sort of kit alerts me: this is a bullshitter with a gun and the driver will probably get away with any kill shot.

Since you probably skipped the review, the only question asked in a job interview was, "Do you own a gun?"
Your veteran status has nothing to do with it.
They're not veterans, they're not cops, and they're not serving any damn thing.
The organization is government-funded so, yah, just another welfare program for people with guns but no skills and using the military as a beard. Once again, it's the biggest lie of the military that it will prepare anyone for anything except more killing.
When you get back, soldier boy, there won't be a single one of those flag-waving bullshitters willing to spend so much as a plug nickel to hang your wretched ass from a tree. Your real help will only come from other veterans.
