CNN Calls Dead Babies Just Another Card to Play

The article is headlined WHY WON'T THEY STOP and this in response to a problem CNN is trying to create in a thoracic (i.e. heart) surgery unit for infants in Florida.  The notion presented is the people at Saint Mary's Medical Center in Florida are a bunch of irresponsible cowboys and children are dying in droves.

The question, in a substantially more civil tone, would be more reasonably directed to surgical investigators from Johns Hopkins who have been inspecting procedures, statistics, etc at the hospital. Various suggestions and recommendations have been made.  As to whether those suggestions were valid or whether they were followed is a question for Johns Hopkins rather than for an Internet Shark Tank.  The truth of the matter is the hospital has been the subject of ongoing review and it's the responsibility of the medical society to police itself and, as the article documents, it is actively working to do that.

The article was written by Elizabeth Cohen and John Bonifield, two of the always-responsible CNN journo propaganda set, dedicated to truth, money, and exploitation of every cheap angle no matter how low.

There's no chance any responsible doctor will perform open-heart surgery on an infant unless the kid is going to die anyway.  There are huge risks in such a procedure but most of them existed before it ever started as that little heart is busted and the surgeon is trying to fix it.  That there are thousands of these procedures being performed is proof they can be successful but it's fantasy to believe they always will be.  It's tragic for the parents when it fails but there are thousands of sets of parents who did take their babies home.

Turning that situation in life into yet another Internet kangaroo court is such bestial gouging that I can't find a word for it and I know a lot of words.  I like 'fuck' the best, tho, as there's no chance of misunderstanding.  Fuck any journo who does this kind of benthic rubbish (i.e. bottom-feeding).
