"Angel" Lyrics Received

The first draft (i.e. the best draft) of the lyrics for the song have been received and these words present an interesting challenge:  it's in the first person so I will be singing (i.e. croaking) it as if I am the angel.  I'm not under any misapprehension about being an angel but I don't at all believe in changing a poem once it's written as the gut truth comes out in the first writing and further modification runs the great risk of turning it into a contrivance.  My father did this a million times (perhaps a slight exaggeration) with his paintings.  When you bring science (i.e. overthink) an artwork, it will almost always end up an ashtray only your mother will love.  This is what I did in Crafts Class today, Mother, dear!

Challenges are always good and the Angel's request for the song is that it be trippy with a middle section that rips.  It will be an interesting balance to strike!
